The Statist of the Month for August is Elizabeth Warren!
On August 22nd, The Foundation For Economic Freedom reported that Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Massachusetts) is proposing a bill that would effectively give the federal government control over businesses. This would constitute communism. Over the past few years, the political left has strategically been conditioning the citizenry to grow accustomed to the words and ideas of socialism and communism. At this point in time, most people in the US would probably support communism due to thorough brainwashing present in media and the education system from kindergarten through grad school.

The runner-up for Statist of the Month is the New Mexico Secretary of State, Maggie Toulouse Oliver. Noticing that former governor, Gary Johnson has a realistic chance at winning the US Senate race this November, the politician abruptly altered the entire format of the ballot, giving voters the chance to vote for all Democratic candidate or all Republican candidates by filling in just one circle. This would make it much easier for voters to neglect to even notice that governor Johnson is running in the election.
